New world record for Most Underpants in 30 Seconds
Просмотров 491Месяц назад
I managed to get 23 pair of underpants put on in 30 seconds - the last pair that you'll see in the video were determined to have not been pulled up all the way before the clock stopped in the final judgement. It was a fun record! And bonus, I didn't get arrested for being half-undressed in a public place ;P
New world record for fastest time to put on 10 pair of underpants.

13.03 seconds to put on 10 pair of underpants, with slow motion footage at the end for those who really want to see my technique. Think you can beat me? That would be awesome! I'd love someone to go even faster - let me know in the comments how you do :)
New World Record for most underpants worn in one minute.

For something a little different, I thought I'd have a try at the Guiness World Record for most underpants put on in 1 minute. The current record is 36 and has stood since 2011. Let's see how I go.

    Asking guest to have gratitude seems tacky and unclassy. Give them more than they expect and you'll be highly rewarded. The company should or could explain common tipping amounts but the employees shouldnt. Have higher integrity. 6:32

      In my experience I've found that many people aren't aware of tipping or come from cultures where it's not practiced. Giving people more than they expect is 100% the right thing to do, but it still isn't a guarantee that you're going to get tipped. Asking for tips gives me more money at the end of the tour. It's as simple as that. Still, each to his / her own. If this doesn't work for you, ignore it! Choose the path that is best for you :)

    Very useful, thanks so much. I am a published author and am starting my own LITERARY walking tour of Galway city, City of the Scribes (a pun on Tribes, i.e.Galway's founding families). I did a "recon" earlier in the month and got everything packed into a tight 90mins, but having a "script" to work from will be crucial.

    Fair play if you can get away with it! Ive been working as an international your leader for over 20 ears and I have never asked for tips, nor would I recommend you do. I run a tips kitty for other staff and helpers throughout the trip which sets the scene. If you do a good job then tips will come your way.

      Same concept - be up front and honest - if you want tips mention it at the start in a non-threatening way: "I'm really excited to do this tour for you. This is my job, and I love it. We are now going to walk from point A to Point B. The tour will finish in approx 2 hours time at Point C, where we will say goodbye and I will be available to receive gratuities, should you wish to give them. Tips are not compulsory, but I do appreciate them (wink) and I'll be working very hard to try to deserve them." ... or something similar.

    Asking for the tip directly is not good. First of all we have to provide very good service to the tourists and rest is up to them. You can ask to them who are not coming from those countries where Tip is not a common practice. Thanks for the video.

    Sounds a little like begging.I have a good basic salary as an off and on tourguide and if they give tips its just great, if they dont, fine anyway.I had tours that went perfect but no tip and tours that i feelt less great but great tip.The company should pay you american guides a good basic salary so you dont have to worry about this.I can understand you but mentioning this like that wouldnt work for me i think..Local guides always get tips, thats important and i tell them to tip.If they give me just great but i dont have expectations.Work with swedish tourists in China

    • @NickManningAuthor
      @NickManningAuthor 5 лет назад

      Asking for tips can sometimes have a bad reputation because a lot of people ask for them the wrong way. This is why some companies don't allow it. We should never pressure guests to give them tips, only educate them and then let them decide. I think asking and explaining tips can be helpful for both guides and clients, when done correctly. However if you work for a company that disagrees, then you should follow their advice - they're the employer, after all!!
